Holiday Decorating Contest

There is a new twist on The Stratford Landing Holiday Decorating Contest this year. In order to encourage as much participation as possible in this time honored tradition, voting will be open to the community. The House Decorating committee will select at least three different houses for each of the four categories listed below. The pictures and addresses of these homes will go online at the www.StratfordLanding.org website on December 19^th. Each resident will be able to vote for their favorite house in each of the four categories. Voting will remain open until the 21^st. Once the votes have been tallied, the winners of the contest will be posted on the website on Friday, December 22, also signs designating them as winners will go up on the front lawns.

So many of the past winners have set the bar high in their decorating and we would like to encourage some friendly competition amongst our neighbors. Don’t feel that if you have not won before that all is lost – we know that you are out there and now the community will decide the best decorated homes. We are looking for new, creative and innovative decorations this year.

There will be 4 categories which the houses will be judged on. They are: Prettiest at Night; Most Kid Friendly; Most Original; and Prettiest in the Day.

One winner from each category will win a $50 gift certificate to Red, Hot and Blue.

The Voting Results For All Four Categories May Be Found Below. The Polls 'closed' at 12:00 AM on 12/22 and results were archieved at that time. Paper ballots that were recieved have been added to the on-line results. Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest.
