The Stratford Recreation Association was founded in 1964 as a non-profit, non-stock membership corporation that operates and maintains our community pool and grounds.

While thought of mostly in reference to 'The Pool,' SRA hosts and facilitates a number of activities for the benefit of its members. These include swim lessons for young children, swim and dive team for older kids, and tennis team. There are also several social functions throughout the season both for children, adults and families. On select Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 'Family Night' provides an opportunity to purchase hamburgers and hot dogs while enjoying dinner around the pool! To learn more about the pool please visit the SRA website.

In 2017, SRA updated the pool house!

One of the coolest features about the pool in 2017 is the brand-new, state-of-the art, modern pool house! If you haven't had a chance to tour the facility, we highly recommend it if you're not a pool member! It's a great addition to an already wonderful facility.

Fun Fact: Did you know the new pool house was actually built by a local contractor, Fort Hunt Construction, whose owner has been a Stratford Landing resident for over 25 years! How's that for local?!
